Nick — founder of 208Marketing Group

Hi, I'm Nick.

I genuinely care that your business succeeds. That's not a tagline. I have family members who own and operate local businesses, and I know the reality — long hours, tight margins, and never enough time to wonder if your website is actually doing its job.

So when I build websites and run marketing for local businesses, I'm not thinking about deliverables. I'm thinking about whether the phone rings.

A little about me

I grew up in Oregon and have called Idaho home for 13 years. The "208" in 208Marketing is for the area code that covers all of it — the small towns, the genuine and wholehearted people, and the family-run places that hold up the local economy.

I've spent the past 10 years helping small and mid-sized businesses with their digital marketing across client success, SEO, and product.

The experience that informs every decision I make

For eight of those years, I worked inside a SaaS company, advising hundreds of auto repair shops across the country on SEO and PPC. I spearheaded SEO initiatives across the department, led the internal training, and became the company's go-to resource for anything SEO-related. I owned the relationship with our escalated and premium clients, and I helped launch new products — including an AI Review Responder.

For those same eight years, I ran the entire marketing operation for a local tree service as a freelancer — SEO, PPC, social, and web strategy.

That parallel track is what makes 208Marketing different.

Enterprise strategy. Local results.

Most local marketing agencies have never run a national SaaS playbook. Most enterprise SEO and PPC strategists have never had real skin in the game on a single local business for nearly a decade. I've done both at the same time — and the local results from the past 12 months are the proof:

  • 5.1 ROAS
  • $1.5M in pipeline revenue generated
  • $360K in confirmed revenue
  • 1,800 leads generated
  • 25% click-to-lead conversion rate

That's what happens when enterprise-grade strategy gets applied to a single local business with care.

Why I started 208Marketing

AI-powered search is reshaping how customers find local businesses — and most aren't ready for it. The websites that won the last decade aren't going to win the next one. Speed, structure, and AI-readiness aren't optional anymore.

I started 208Marketing to make sure the small and mid-sized businesses I work with don't get left behind.

My mission

208Marketing was founded with one simple mission: deliver high-performance, conversion-focused websites built on the same modern tech stacks that power today's fastest brands. Speed isn't just a metric — it's a business advantage.

How I build

I focus on what actually matters:

  • Performance-first architecture — lightweight, semantic code that actually performs.
  • Modern technology — Jamstack builds, headless CMS, and cutting-edge frameworks.
  • AI-ready structure — built for the next generation of search and discovery.
  • Clean, minimal design — fast-loading, conversion-driven, and free from clutter.

What drives the work

I'm passionate about giving hard-working businesses tools that help them grow — not just another website, but a faster, smarter foundation for their marketing.

The web keeps evolving. So does this work. I'm constantly refining my process, exploring new technologies, and pushing the boundaries of what's possible — so the businesses I work with stay ahead of the curve.
